Check it yourself

Nothing in this world is scripted or edited by hand. Every event of every era feeds a fingerprint (a SHA-256 hash). Anyone with the code can re-run an era from its seed and rules and get the very same fingerprint, which proves the history above is exactly what the simulation produced.

  1. Download the era's rules with the link on its entry (eras still kept in the atlas only).
  2. With the gen0 code installed (Python 3.12), run sim verify config.yaml --days N --hash H using the numbers on the entry. It prints whether they match.

The gen0 code isn't public yet. Until it is, the fingerprints are published here as each era runs, so they can be checked later.
