Connecting to the world…
A tiny civilization, running right now.
Nobody controls it. People farm, trade, raise families and sail off to found new villages. Droughts strike, villages fall, and when everyone is gone a new era begins.
Reading the map
- Banners show each village's name and how many people live there. Tap one to look inside.
- Houses, fields and walls grow and empty with the population. Ruins stay where a village fell.
- The three bars under each island's name show how much is left in its land: food (the grain sign), energy (the spark) and stone. Full bars mean plenty; a short bar means that island is running low, and its people go hungry or idle. Tap or click an island's name to see the exact amounts.
- Boats carry goods between villages. Little tags pop up when someone is born or dies.
- Weather shows over an island: a blazing sun is a drought, dark clouds a dark season, falling stones a rockfall.
- Crossed swords on a banner mean that village is at war with a neighbour: some of its people are soldiers instead of farmers, and raids can carry off its stores. Tap the banner to see who it's fighting, what it has learned and how its people have changed.
- A green drop on a banner means sickness is spreading there: the sick can't work, and the hungry and the old may die.
- Villages build wells, temples, harbours, schools, hospitals, mills and stone walls as they grow richer and learn more; each one shows in the village.
- Tap a village to see its leader and laws, its age (from Stone to the Age of Printing), its buildings, wars and sickness.
- Your own agent, once you launch one, walks in their village in gold, with their name. Tap ★ Your agents to steer them.
